What this website collects, and how it's used. Plain English, no surprises.

Bucher Digital ("I", "me") is a web design and marketing business owned by Liz Bucher in Erie County, New York. This policy explains what information this website collects and how it's used.

What I collect

  • Contact and project forms. When you use the contact form or the Start your project questionnaire, I receive what you type, such as your name, email, phone number, business details and any files you upload.
  • Payments. Invoices are sent and paid through Square. I never see or store your card or bank details.
  • Quick Edit. If you edit your own website with Quick Edit, I store your email address, your sign-in session and the content and photos you save.
  • Basic site data. My hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical data like IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.

How I use it

To reply to you, plan and build your project, send invoices, provide the services you buy, and keep the site secure. I don't sell your information, and I don't share it except with the service providers that make this work: Cloudflare (hosting), Resend (email delivery) and Square (payments).

Social media connections

This website includes a private tool that posts Bucher Digital's own videos to Bucher Digital's own YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok accounts. It's used only by Liz Bucher. When those accounts are connected, the tool stores the access tokens those platforms issue so it can publish videos and read basic account details like the channel or page name. It doesn't read, collect or store anyone else's data. You can see how Google handles data in the Google Privacy Policy, and YouTube's terms are at youtube.com/t/terms. Access can be revoked at any time from each platform's security settings, which also deletes it here on the next attempt to use it.

How long I keep it

Project records are kept as long as needed for the work and for tax and legal records. Ask me any time to delete your information and I will, unless the law requires me to keep it.
